A young real-estate agent named Jonathan Harker has been sent to New Orleans to handle a new client–The mysterious Countess Dragula–Who wants to purchase a string of abandoned night clubs all across America. What nefarious plots could the Countess be hatching? And why does she have such large hands? These questions and more will be answered in Dragula!, the new play from the creators of Steel DRAGnolias.

Octoberfest - Huntington Beach - Old World Village

Need something to do? Back for it’s 33rd year, Huntington Beach’s Old World Village is back with Octoberfest which is going on now and runs through the end of October. Get your fill off Oompah bands, rock those lederhosen, dance the infamous chicken dance, tons of ladies showing huge tracks of land while serving foaming beer steins and of course food! On Sundays host wiener dog races then Wednesdays and Thursdays are dubbed “Family Night,” Family Nights are free admission.

Sinister Pointe Haunted Attraction 2011 - Opens Thursday, October 6, 2011 - Brea

Orange County’s Sinister Pointe Haunted Attraction, which recently unveiled its brand new year-round facility in Brea.
The theme is a cross between the Hills Have Eyes, House of 1000 Corpses and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. With interactivity of course!!! Choose your own adventure of doom. Watch out for inbreds, blood, chainsaws and lots of screaming!Hours of operation are 7 PM to 11 PM Sundays through Thursdays, and 7 PM to 12 AM Fridays and Saturdays.

General admission is $15, or $23 for a “Scream Pass” (which bestows front of the line privileges) and $28 for an “All Nite Pass” (allows multiple trips through the maze) or $33 for an “All Nite Scream Pass” (front of the line + multiple trips through maze). Internationally recognized humanitarian and award-winning restaurateur Bruno Serato will launch the sale of his autobiography, “Feeding The Kids Of America,” at a book signing benefiting the nonprofit he founded, Caterina’s Club, on Tuesday, October 11 at 11 a.m. The celebrated owner of the award-winning Anaheim White House catapulted to international acclaim for his extraordinary work in feeding local “motel kids,” so named because their disadvantaged parents are relegated to living in cheap motels and meals are sparse. Several members of the Ducks will attend the book signing. Tickets, which include lunch and a copy of the book, are available for $55.
