GOTHIC FASHION: WHAT NOT TO WEAR!

h1 Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

BY AuntiePanPan

I have a complaint. A serious complaint.

It has to do with little, itty bitty, box hats. Let me be blunt. I have been looking in various gothic fashion magazines and websites, and see large headed girls wearing itty bitty teeny not even a squeaky mouse could fit into this sized hats.

NOW. Read the rest of this entry

WALL E - Movie Review

WALL E - Review

By Rick_A_Mortis - Yeah I know it’s been out for awhile.

Synopsis: Academy Award®-winning writer-director Andrew Stanton (”Finding Nemo”) and the inventive storytellers and technical geniuses at Pixar Animation Studios (”The Incredibles,” “Cars,” “Ratatouille”) transport moviegoers to a galaxy not so very far away for a new computer-animated cosmic comedy about a determined robot named WALL E.

After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALLE has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet’s future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALLE chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.

Good ol Pixar. I’ve been super happy with pretty everything they have released. Except for maybe CARS, which I think is due to the fact of not being a fan of NASCAR. I just thought it was middle of the road ok. Get it road? CARS…ok never mind. Anyways when WALL E was released I went in with pretty high expectations.

SPOILERS AHEAD YE BE WARNED!

LOCAL O.C. GOTHS HELP SAVE STRIP MALL

h1 Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Who says that goths are lazy and apathetic?
NOT TRUE after hours last night outside Orange County’s hot club Xile.
Just as everyone was exchanging hugs and phone numbers, after a long night dancing and merriment, a small corseted voice could be heard in the distance saying “I think there’s a fire!” I didn’t get the name of the girl, but she jumped into the backseat of my trusty gothmobile behind my friend, Sterling D. Knight ( of online occult/weapons store ‘The Dark Tower’ fame) while I was chasing down the lead DJ of Xile, who was running at full gallop to see where the commotion was coming from. AuntiePanPan’s Guide to nightclub etiquette

This article: Capes, Drapes and other flammable things.
Ah, yes…The end of Summer at the annual graveyard picnic. Woe be it to you if you have nothing to plonk down onto the ground to sit upon so not as to ruin your velvet and leather hobble skirt or have a wet spot on your butt in the tall wet grasses overlooking the local family tombs in the wee hours of the morning. There is only one thing that can save you that is much more pretty than a piece of newspaper to sit upon.
Capes. Trench coats. Cloaks and leather jackets. Read the rest of this entry
